Product Description

The Cressi Edy 2 is designed for scuba, technical and free diving, and its compact size and sleek design make it a very attractive wristwatch as well. It is made of innovative combination of techno-polymers and metal for strength and endurance. Its small size hides a variety of regular dive computer functions, such as air and nitrox mix with user-adjustable oxygen percentage, timer and depth gauge for diving up to 200 meters, and all advanced watch functions, like alarm, dual zones time and backlight.

Edy has three safety levels, an alarm for maximum depth, nitrogen saturation display and oxygen toxicity graph. It shows ascent speed and temperature and possesses a range of visual and sound alarms. Its logbook memory saves up to 30 hours or 60 dives. History function saves maximum depth, number of dives and hours in the water.

The Gauge mode shows dive time, maximum and instant depth, time and temperature. It has a diver-optional depth alarm. It uses a logbook to calculated temperature and averae depth. Its Profile function saves all the dive data for later analysis and dive planning. Edy’s battery is an ordinary watch battery that can be changed by the diver or any watchmaker.

What customers say

The most impressive feature for technical and advanced divers is the bottom timer. Its small size and sleek look make it easy to take on trips and use as a regular watch and not only in the water. It is considered good first computer and good computer for beginner divers because of its simple use. Unfortunately, it is not air-integrated and it does not allow gas switching during the dive.

Free divers also like Edy’s small size and light weight.

Divers like this computer’s sufficiently loud alarms, which they find very useful in bad diving conditions. The battery does not last as long as specified, for safety reason it should be replaced earlier. Divers suggest to let the professional do the change, as there is a danger of water penetration.

Users complain that the manual is difficult to follow by English speakers, but that the included photos help. Because the computer is intuitive enough, they find it easier to learn the computer by simply using it than trying to follow the instructions in the manual. The size of digits is good enough even for older divers, making the display easy to read.
