Product Description

The Suunto D6 dive computer is one of the few most feature-rich dive computers on the market. It is full-decompression wristwatch dive computer with built-in digital compass. The compass bearing can be fixed to assist the diver to follow a certain course, and the arrows point towards the fixed bearing.

The D6 has three operating modes (Nitrox, air and gauge), uses Suunto’s RGBM deep stop algorithm with constant decompression for maximum dive time, and gas-switching functionality while diving. Easy gas switching is particularly important for nitrox diving, because changing to an air mix with a higher percentage of oxygen will enable you to accelerate decompression. For dives in the greater depth, Deep Stop feature adds additional safety with a number of deep stops from the diver’s top depth and the surface.

The dive planner allows the diver to check future dives and review no-decompression data before diving. A timer with a reset option displays the dive time in seconds and minutes. This is crucial for timing correct bottom times and stops for decompression. Sleek look and relatively small size make this computer very attractive watch, for you or as gift to your favorite diver.

What Customers Say

Customers mostly find Suunto D6 dive computer to be stylish, great looking, not too big, reliable and reputable diving computer. They like the useful timers and screens and dive profile display and find the calibration of the compass easy.

Many divers complained that the guidebook needs to be improved by offering photos of setups, since they are difficult to understand and follow. Video would be even better. Once shown by another diver, they find that the setup is easy, just not with the aid of the guidebook. Another complaint is that the screen protector is very difficult to install and instructions in the guidebook are not helpful. Some reviewers find Suunto D6's conservative algorithm helpful to any diver to get the maximum from his or her dives. Others find it a little more conservative than some of the other brands.
