The IQ-700 Tusa DC Hunter dive computer has a large display with three big buttons, which make its use very user-friendly. The computer is water activated and it switches automatically between displays. The battery is diver-replaceable. Additional features are backlit display, memory of 60 dives or 30 hours, diver-adaptable PO2 settings for two mixes: 25 to 50 percent and from 21 and 99 percent. It also features safety stop.

DC Hunter is also an attractive watch with advanced functions, like calendar and daily alarms. The computer memory can save data from up to 999 dives (History function.) Its dive information function shows dive time gauge, depth gauge, water temperature gauge, warning and surface pause counter. To ensure diver’s safety, a two-step decompression can be calculated. DC Hunter also has displays for No Flying time and the time to discharge of residual nitrogen.

The most common comment is that the manual is designed for more advanced users and is not friendly for the beginners. The easy downloading of dive logs into the computer was also appreciated by the divers who like to analyze their dives and use this for future planning. They commented that the cable has to be bought separately.

The Tusa DC Hunter is considered very good quality for the money, very robust and reliable dive computer that supported some reviewers in 150 dives. The computer is easy to read and learn, particularly useful are bar graphs. The information on decompression stops and ascent rate is displayed very clearly for the safety of divers.

The computer is not air-integrated so the divers noted that they had to use an additional gauge console to keep monitoring their air. The sound alarm is considered loud enough to be useful in critical conditions. The computer allows easy change between air and enriched air. It also has useful setting for saltwater or fresh water.
